IT Security Consultant - CISSP Certified (3-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled IT Security Consultant with experience in cyber security, security requirements, IT security audits, and relevant certifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in at least two IT projects, demonstrating expertise in implementing security measures and conducting audits. This position requires a strong understanding of security frameworks, particularly ISO 27001 and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.

Responsibilities :

- Conduct comprehensive IT security assessments and audits for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

- Develop, implement, and monitor security policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with ISO 27001 and other relevant frameworks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.

- Design and execute vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to strengthen security posture.

- Assist in the development and implementation of security awareness training programs for staff and stakeholders.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats, trends, and regulatory requirements to ensure proactive security measures.

- Provide guidance and support for incident response and recovery efforts, including post-incident analysis.

- Prepare detailed reports on security audits, assessments, and project outcomes, presenting findings to stakeholders.

- Foster a culture of security awareness and best practices within the organization.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in IT security, with a focus on security requirements, audits, and compliance.

- Proven experience in at least two IT projects involving security assessments and implementations.

- Strong understanding of security frameworks, particularly ISO 27001

- CISSP certification is required.

- Familiarity with other relevant certifications (e. g., CISM, CEH) is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
