Chief Technology Officer/Head - Technology Transfer - Aerospace & Drone Industry (15-22 yrs)

We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) / Head - Technology Transfer to lead the transition of drone technologies from R&D and prototype stages to full-scale production. This role requires deep expertise in aerospace, avionics, mechatronics, and electronics with a focus on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), design transfer, and cost optimization strategies. The ideal candidate will spearhead technology adoption, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation and efficiency in production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology & Design Transfer:

- Lead the transition of drone designs from R&D and prototype stages to scalable production.

- Oversee the release of technical drawings and finalization of manufacturing-ready designs.

- Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve design and production challenges.

2. Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) & Innovation:

- Establish best practices for PLM and integrate R&D improvements into production.

- Work with the marketing and business teams to align product innovation with market needs.

- Drive continuous process enhancements to improve product quality and performance.

3. Cost Optimization & Efficiency:

- Implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.

- Oversee testing, validation, and feasibility analysis for production-scale manufacturing.

- Identify efficiency improvement opportunities across design, production, and supply chain.

Qualifications & Expertise:

- B.E / M.E in Aeronautics, Avionics, Mechatronics, or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).

- Strong background in CAD, PMP, Programming, and Quality Management Systems (AS/ISO).

- Proven experience in R&D, technology transfer, and product commercialization within aerospace, electronics, or drone technology sectors.

Leadership & Technical Skills:

- 15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles within aerospace, avionics, or electronic systems.

- Strong knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), technology transfer, and manufacturing processes.

- Expertise in cost analysis, design optimization, and implementation of efficiency-driven solutions.

- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with engineering, R&D, marketing, and manufacturing teams.

- Strong grasp of regulatory frameworks, safety standards, and compliance in the aerospace and drone industry.
