Job Description :

Position Overview :

We are seeking a talented and passionate Android Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Android Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences.

What you'll be doing :

- You will build product features end-to-end-through conception, exploration, maintenance, polish, and testing.

- Build a browser-based interface that borrows the best of visual design tools to create polished experiences for all our users and creators to build their digital identities.

- You will help build Loco's UI component library and custom animations.

- Use the latest and/or greatest frameworks (and have opinions on when to use which) to build a cutting edge but functional product

- Create intuitive and often hidden features to keep creators/streamers in a creative/flow state, empowering creators/streamers and helping them build their digital identity is a key focus area for the entire team

- Integrate with our existing backend infrastructure and machine learning components

- Work with designers, product managers and engineers to scope features that balance complexity with agility and customer experience

You'll be a good fit if :

- Should have 2-5 years of Android development experience

- Good working knowledge of Kotlin, MVVM architecture, Kotlin coroutines and Android Studio

- Proven experience with one or more apps published in the app store

- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

- UI development with Interface Builder and Code, including Auto Layout.

- Deep knowledge in App life cycle and different types of Architecture & Design

- Patterns Knowledge in streaming related technologies and skills in animations would be a plus

- Detail-oriented, analytical, thinker, technologist, and market-aware

- Self-starter, capable of thriving in a startup environment that values risk-taking and constant learning

- Strong understanding of streaming protocols, codecs and relevant technologies

- Experience with video playback and streaming libraries on Android platform

- Knowledge of adaptive streaming technologies ( HLS, DASH )
