Role Responsibilities

• Independently manage and oversee the quality assurance lifecycle for multiple high-impact projects.
• Implement and align company strategy within your team, influencing and contributing to broader organizational goals.
• Take charge of day-to-day client and vendor relationships, including fee and contract negotiations.
• Lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test plans and cases, both manual and automated.
• Demonstrate mastery in multiple software testing languages and frameworks, including Java, Selenium, and Python.
• Author and maintain clear, concise technical documentation for testing processes.
• Drive the adoption of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices, leading efforts to automate testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex testing issues in collaboration with development, client support, and infrastructure teams.
• Oversee and participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation evaluations.
• Mentor and lead a team of QA engineers, with a significant role in hiring and project management.
• Proactively seek opportunities for personal and team development, engaging in relevant training and professional growth activities.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, maintaining credibility and a positive attitude.
• Manage change efficiently, ensuring team performance in ambiguous and challenging situations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in multiple areas, engaging with third parties and clients on specialized testing tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering
• Proficiency in software languages such as Java & Python
• Strong experience designing, developing, and executing automated RESTful API tests using industry-standard tools (e.g., Postman, Newman, REST Assured), ensuring robust and reliable backend functionality.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman/Newman or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation within the build process.
• Advanced skills in SQL for database and performance testing tasks.
• Extensive experience with testing frameworks and tools such as JMeter, K6, and TestNG.
• Proven experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Proven experience with mentoring junior team members.
• Experience in development within agile methodology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience in the financial services industry is highly desired.
