BNG Integration Engineer - Network Infrastructure (3-15 yrs)

Role : BNG Integration Engineer.

Experience : 3 to 15 yrs.

Location : Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities :

- Plan, design, and implement BNG systems into the existing network infrastructure.

- Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans, minimizing disruption to existing network services.

- Coordinate with network architects, engineers, and operations teams to ensure successful BNG deployments.

- Configure BNG devices, including subscriber management, authentication, and policy enforcement.

- Manage IP addressing, DHCP configurations, and routing protocols relevant to BNG operations.

- Optimize BNG configurations to enhance performance, reliability, and resource utilization.

- Perform pre- and post-integration testing to ensure system stability and performance.

- Validate the integration through rigorous testing scenarios, including load testing, stress testing, and fault injection.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any integration-related issues that arise.

- Document integration processes, configurations, and network changes.

- Prepare detailed reports on integration progress, challenges, and outcomes.

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for BNG systems.

- Assist in the development of troubleshooting procedures and technical support guidelines.

- Work closely with other network design engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration success.

- Train operations and support teams on BNG functionalities and integration procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3 to 15 years of experience in network engineering with a strong focus on BNG technologies.

- In-depth knowledge of BNG protocols and architectures, including BRAS, NGB, and other relevant standards.

- Expertise in configuring and managing BNG devices from leading vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Huawei).

- Strong understanding of IP networking concepts, including routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), IP addressing, and subnetting.

- Experience with network virtualization technologies (e.g., SDN, NFV) is a plus.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Desired Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible).

- Knowledge of network security best practices and technologies.

- Certifications in relevant network technologies (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP).
