Fund Manager - Venture Capital Fund

We are seeking a highly experienced "Fund Manager - Venture Capital Fund to lead and manage our VC fund operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in venture capital investments, portfolio management, fundraising, and regulatory compliance. The Fund Manager will be responsible for identifying high-growth investment opportunities, overseeing due diligence, managing investor relations, and ensuring optimal fund performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with the fund’s objectives.
• Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in startups and growth-stage companies.
• Conduct in-depth market research, financial analysis, and risk assessment on prospective investments.
• Oversee and monitor portfolio companies, ensuring growth, financial stability, and risk mitigation.
• Build and maintain relationships with LPs, institutional investors, and stakeholders to secure capital commitments.
• Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations and other legal frameworks governing VC funds.
• Develop and execute profitable exit strategies, including IPOs, mergers, or acquisitions.
• Stay updated with market trends, industry developments, and emerging sectors to optimize investment decisions.

Qualifications & Key Skills:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CFA, CA, or equivalent qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, fund management, or investment banking.
• Strong understanding of AIF Category I regulations, financial modelling, valuation techniques, and due diligence.
• Proven track record of managing funds, sourcing deals, and executing successful investments.
• Strong network within the startup ecosystem, including founders, co-investors, and industry leaders.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with investors and stakeholders.
