SAP BO Developer - Data Services (6-9 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled SAP BODS Developer/Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data integration, data transformation, and data quality management using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop ETL processes using SAP BODS to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data needs.

- Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation to ensure data quality.

- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, resolving any issues that arise during data processing.

- Optimize ETL processes for performance and efficiency.

- Create and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and technical specifications.

- Work with data architects and database administrators to ensure data architecture aligns with business requirements.

- Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Stay up to date with SAP BODS best practices and features to enhance existing processes.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience :

- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP BODS development and data integration.

- Proven experience in designing and developing complex ETL processes.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling principles.

- Experience with various data sources and target systems, including SAP ERP, relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server), and flat files.

- Experience with data quality management and data profiling.

- Proficient in SAP BODS development, including data flows, transforms, and scripting.

- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis.

- Familiarity with SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI) is a plus.

- Experience with SAP HANA is a plus.

- Experience with other ETL tools is a plus.
