Job Description
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network engineers.
- Ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Coordinate with the customers regularly and be accountable for the team"s delivery and performance.
- Participate in the new customer transition and onboarding.
- Should have strong troubleshooting skills and lead the effort in resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
- Be a part of the escalation matrix, monitor network performance, and troubleshoot issues to minimize network downtime thus reducing the impact.
- Communicate network status, issues, and changes to stakeholders effectively.
- Network Design and Implementation:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of customer LAN, WAN, Network Security, and wireless networks.
- Ensure network architecture aligns with business needs and network standardization is implemented.
- Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams (HLD/LLD), configurations, and SOPs.
- Should coordinate with the OEMs and participate in the resolution discussion and thus resolution of complex cases.
- Implement and maintain network security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Education:
- B-Tech in CS/ECE/EE will be preferred.
- Valid CCIE certification is a plus.
- Cloud certification in AWS/AZURE/GCP will be a plus.
- Knowledge of ITIL Processes is desired.
- Experience:
- 11+ Years in relevant technology/Domain.
- A Managed Service Provider Exposure within the Service Industry with multiple customer BAU/Operations handling experiences is desirable.
- Technological Skill Set:
- SDWAN (Viptela, Meraki, etc.).
- Cisco ACI
- SD-ACCESS
- Cisco DNA
- Load Balancer (F5 etc.)
- Cisco ISE
- Firewall (Fire Power, Palo Alto Firewall, Panorama, Fortigate Firewall, Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, and Check Point).
- Cisco WLC and Wireless.
- Aruba Wireless.
- NPM, APM, IPAM, DDI, Infoblox.
- Good Knowledge of VPN on IPSec and SSL VPN, DMVPN, and GRE.
- In-depth knowledge of Routing Protocol (BGP, OSPF, etc.), MPLS, QoS.
- Cisco Access/Core/Stack Switch, Cisco ASR/ISR Router.
- Experience on Zscalar will be a plus.
- Experience in the public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) will be a plus.
- Monitoring Tools, - NPM, IPAM, DDI, Solarwinds, Nagios, Prtg, etc.
- API and Automation (Ansible and Python) experience will be a plus.
