Job Description
What to expect in your journey
- Monitor and maintain the performance,and security of enterprise networks (LAN, WAN, VPN).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complexnetwork issues (routing, switching, firewall).
- Configure, manage, and optimize networkhardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Implement and enforce network securityprotocols, including firewall rules, IPS/IDS, and VPN.
- Manage and monitor network traffic,ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
- Perform network capacity planning,including bandwidth and hardware upgrades.
- Oversee the installation andmaintenance of network infrastructure (cabling, racks, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsto support network integration with other systems.
- Maintain and Edit networkdocumentation, diagrams, and configurations.
- Lead network incident response effortsand coordinate with vendors for issue resolution.
- Implement network automation andmonitoring tools to streamline operations.
- Participate in disaster recoveryplanning and execution for network systems.
What you bring to the table
- Minimum4 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
- CCNAcertification or similar industry-recognized IP/Ethernet certification ispreferable but not essential and equivalent experience will be considered.
- B.Tech, BCA, B. Sc. Computer Science or relevant.
