Job Description

Role Purpose and Scope:
We are seeking a passionate Learning and Development (L&D) Head based at our executive office who will play a crucial role in helping individuals enhance their skills and knowledge.
By providing learning and development opportunities, this role will contribute to our companys success and ensure that our employees are well equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.

Role Responsibility:
  1. Collaborate with senior management to identify key future business skills (Technical / Leadership) in line with long term business goals.
  2. Design, develop and implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training).
  3. Create and execute learning strategies and programs in line with business needs.
  4. Design and deliver courses, workshops and other trainings for all employees across all levels.
  5. Identifying subject matter experts (SMEs) for essential business skills. These internal master coaches will be leveraged to facilitate effective peer learning throughout the organization.
  6. Evaluate individual and organizational development needs. Creating IDPs based upon the evaluation and assess the success of development plans. Help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
  7. Help managers to identify key talents and create a development plan through career pathing.
  8. Track training budgets and negotiate contracts.
  9. Hire and oversee training and L&D Specialists
  10. Use various instructional design techniques to develop effective training materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, and instructor-led training sessions with the help of SMEs
  11. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements to ensure maximum impact.
  12. Lead all management audits such as ISO9001, ISO14001 etc. and Contribute to the development of the training policies.
  13. Use data and metrics to measure the impact of training programs and provide regular reports to senior management.
  14. Develop learning and development frameworks to guarantee that employees receive consistent learning opportunities and experiences throughout the organization.
  15. Strong communication skills are essential in effectively guiding employees through their learning journey.

Qualification and Experience:

BE Mechanical and MBA degree with minimum of 10+ years experience in training and development, with a track record in designing and executing successful training programs.

Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.)
