Shift timings: 10am- 7pm

Contract Period: 6 Months(extendible)

Experience : 6+ years in IT/Software and 5+ years in ServiceNow(mandatory)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer with extensive experience in ServiceNow platform development, customization, and integrations. Candidate will work on various ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, and CMDB, depending on the project requirements. This role involves developing, implementing, and enhancing ServiceNow functionalities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise, proven problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to project management and customer-facing engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• ServiceNow Development & Customization:
• Develop, customize, and implement solutions within ServiceNow across different modules like ITSM (Incident, Change, Problem Management), ITAM (SAM & HAM), and ITOM (Discovery & Event Management).
• Design and develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and server-side scripting.
• Configure and manage ServiceNow Portal, including user interfaces, pages, and user experiences.
• Integrations & API Development:
• Develop, configure, and maintain integrations with third-party systems using Web Methods (REST, SOAP).
• Ensure seamless data flow and integrations between ServiceNow and external applications.
• System Administration & Maintenance:
• Perform administrative functions, including system upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot and fix production defects while adhering to best practices in CI/CD processes.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Engage with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and implement solutions.
• Work in an Agile environment, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience & Domain Expertise:
• 6+ years of experience in IT/software development with at least 5 years specializing in ServiceNow.
• Proven expertise in two or more modules among ITSM, ITOM, ITAM (SAM & HAM), CSM, HRSD, CMDB, or ServiceNow Portal.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Programming: Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
• Client-Side Technologies: Proficiency in AJAX (JavaScript + XML) and AngularJS (preferred for Portal-related work).
• Web Services & Integration: Expertise in REST and SOAP web services for integration tasks.
• Scripting & Customization: Experience with ServiceNow scripting (client and server-side), business rules, and workflows.
• Tools & Certifications:
• Mandatory Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools, including automation for deploying ServiceNow code.
• Process & Methodology Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and experience with Agile frameworks for software development.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

• Experience with ServiceNow Portals and UI/UX customization.
• Knowledge of integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise platforms and tools.
• Previous experience in customer-facing projects and demonstrating problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven track record of teamwork and collaboration in multi-disciplinary teams.
