IoT Developer - Embedded System (0-3 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Assist in the design, development, and testing of IoT-based systems and devices.

- Write and maintain code for embedded systems and microcontrollers.

- Work with sensors, actuators, and communication modules to interface with hardware.

- Implement basic communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, and CoAP for device-to-cloud communication.

- Collaborate with senior team members to build fully automated, robust and reliable IoT systems.

- Assist in troubleshooting, testing, and debugging IoT devices and applications.

- Learn and implement IoT security principles to safeguard devices and data.

- Contribute to the documentation of IoT system designs, processes, and solutions.

- Continuously learn about the latest trends and advancements in IoT technology.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- Good understanding of programming languages (C, C++, Python, etc.).

- Understanding of Linux Operating system and its fundamentals like kernel, filesystem and networking.

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

- Familiarity with microcontroller platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, or similar.

- Knowledge of embedded systems and experience working with sensors, actuators, and other IoT components is a plus.

- Understanding of networking concepts and basic communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, MQTT, HTTP).

- Passion for learning and exploring new technologies, especially in the field of IoT.

- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional) :

- Internship or project experience related to IoT, embedded systems, or smart devices.

- Knowledge of FreeRTOS systems and development experience is a bonus.

- Knowledge of uboot and console debugging is also a bonus.

- Familiarity with IoT networking concepts like usage of a MQTT server and LAN communications and securing these communications is a bonus.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and how to use them for IoT purposes is a plus.

- Exposure to wireless communication technologies like Bluetooth, Zigbee, or Wi-Fi.

- Knowledge of IoT security concepts and best practices.
