Engineering Manager - Full Stack Development (10-15 yrs)

Role : Full Stack Engineering Manager

Location : Bangalore, India

Technologies : Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST services, Microservices Architecture, REACT JS, AWS, CI/CD, Micro Front-End Architecture, REACT.js,

Responsibilities :

- Manage a team of 12-15 Front End, Full Stack software engineers and QA engineers, driving projects and initiatives through the team

- Hire, coach and develop engineers on the team

- Ensure and develop high code quality and best development practices and standards within the team

- Responsible for developing product quality standards and release processes

- Can be hands-on coding when needed within the team, provide technical feedback on code reviews

- Work alongside UX designers and product managers to define the strategy, align resources, and drive execution and delivery of products

Qualifications :

- Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Computer science/Electronics)

- 10+ years' experience in the Software Development.

- Experience with developing micro front-end applications using REACT.js

- Solid Hands-on experience in Core Java/J2EE related projects previously acted as tech lead

- Good grasp on frameworks such as Spring Boot, JPA, Spring Security is required

- Ability to work and communicate effectively technical details in a cross-functional, internationally dispersed environment (US and India to start with) and effectively

- Hands-on knowledge of relational database systems (Oracle, MySQL) as well NOSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) is required

- Hands-on with RESTful Web services & Micro services design and development

- Experience with AWS using cloud native services implementing large-scale enterprise applications on cloud

- Good understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) model

- Good practical experience in Agile, Iterative SDLC model

- Experience working with engineering team members on architecture and design, and translation of Product Requirements Docs (PRDs) into technical design documents

- Experience translating technical design documents into projects, milestones, and backlogs
