Brief Description about the Project:

Stillbirths represent a silent crisis affecting countless women and families worldwide daily. The stillbirth rate serves as a crucial measure of the healthcare quality in any country, highlighting significant public health issues, particularly in India. An ICMR initiated project aligned with national priorities to eliminate preventable stillbirths and neonatal mortality is proposed. This initiative aims to consolidate data from various cohort studies /databases comprehensively for secondary data analysis. This database will help in understanding the risk factors and determinants of stillbirths in India.

Project Technical Support -III No. of Vacancy:

Preferred Qualifications: M.Sc./Nutrition/Life Science or a related Field

Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience Last Day for Receiving Application: 18th September 2024

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assist in gathering and consolidating data from multiple cohort studies related to stillbirths and neonatal mortality.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of collected data through meticulous verification and validation processes.
Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on stillbirths, neonatal mortality, and related topics.
Summarize relevant research findings to support the project s objectives and methodologies.
Assist in drafting project reports, research papers, and policy briefs based on project findings.
Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Facilitate communication between the project team and external collaborators.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on research progress and strategies.
Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions related to the project.
Ensure timely completion of project milestones and adherence to project timelines.
