Key Responsibilities:

Educational Leadership and Innovation: Lead the formulation and execution of educational strategies aimed at promoting academic excellence, fostering creativity, and nurturing critical thinking skills among our student body. Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to enhance teaching and learning outcomes across all disciplines.

Technology Integration: Take the helm in the integration of cutting-edge technology into our schools curriculum, instructional methodologies, and administrative operations. Collaborate closely with faculty and staff to harness digital tools and data-driven insights, thereby personalizing learning experiences and optimizing operational efficiency.

Strategic Planning and Vision: Develop and articulate a compelling vision for the future trajectory of St. Mary High School, ensuring alignment with our mission and values. Lead strategic planning endeavors to anticipate proactively and adapt to evolving trends in education and technology, ensuring our institution remains at the forefront of educational innovation.

Staff Development and Management: Oversee the recruitment, mentorship, and evaluation processes for a diverse team of educators and support staff. Provide tailored professional development opportunities to enhance technical competencies, pedagogical practices, and leadership skills among our faculty and staff members.

Student-Centered Approach: Place a paramount emphasis on the holistic well-being and academic success of our students by fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Implement targeted initiatives to bolster student engagement, facilitate socio-emotional development, and cultivate college and career readiness among our student body.

Community Engagement and Partnerships: Forge robust and mutually beneficial relationships with parents, alumni, community stakeholders, and industry partners. Collaborate proactively with external entities and educational institutions to enrich student experiences and broaden learning horizons through meaningful partnerships and initiatives.

Compliance, Accreditation, and Governance: Ensure meticulous adherence to regulatory standards, accreditation prerequisites, and institutional policies. Collaborate closely with governing bodies such as the Board of Trustees to uphold the highest standards of accountability and transparency in governance, safeguarding the integrity of our institution.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or doctoral degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field, with a doctorate being preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in educational leadership roles, demonstrating a proven track record of success as a Principal or Assistant Principal.
  • Comprehensive understanding of best practices and emerging trends in the education field.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate others toward a shared vision of excellence.
  • Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of school life, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for all members of our community.
  • Experience in a technology-driven educational environment, coupled with familiarity with digital learning platforms and data analytics tools, is highly desirable.
