Job Title: HR Manager


Location: Puducherry

Work Mode: In-office


Experience: 10 to 15 years


Job Description:

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all human resources functions, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes, and implementing policies that contribute to a positive and productive work environment. This includes recruitment, payroll management, statutory compliance, employee engagement, grievance handling, and performance management.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • HR Administration & Coordination: Manage the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans, including recruitment, payroll, statutory compliance, employee engagement, and employee relations programs.
  • Human Resources Planning & Enhancement: Plan, implement, and evaluate human resource policies, programs, and practices to enhance the organization's HR functions and achieve organizational goals.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. Manage exit procedures for employees leaving the organization.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement employee engagement programs, including team-building activities, recognition programs, and initiatives to help employees feel connected to the company and its goals.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance management assessments, provide feedback to employees, and work with management to address performance concerns.
  • Payroll & Benefits Management: Oversee the payroll process and benefits administration to ensure accuracy and timeliness in salary disbursement and employee benefits.
  • Employee Relations & Grievance Handling: Manage employee relations, including resolving grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Compliance with Labour Laws: Ensure the company adheres to all relevant labour laws and statutory compliance regulations. Monitor and update policies to remain compliant with changes in laws.
  • HR Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, ensuring all information is confidential and secure. Ensure proper documentation for compliance audits.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Relocation: Candidates from outside Puducherry must be willing to relocate with their family.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Tamil, English, and Hindi is required.
  • Industry Experience: Candidates with experience in Manufacturing or Trading-based companies are preferred.
