Associate(IT Asset Management)

Role & responsibilities

1.Asset Management:

a)Keep track of all IT assets like computers, software, and peripherals.

b)Update records regularly.

c)Monitor asset lifecycle from purchase to disposal.

2.Procurement Support:

a)Assist in purchasing IT equipment.

b)Research vendors and get quotes.

c)Help negotiate contracts and ensure they meet needs.

3.Billing and Expense Management:

a)Check and process IT invoices.

b)Reconcile invoices with purchase orders.

c)Help track IT expenses against the budget.

4.Documentation and Reporting:

a)Maintain records related to IT assets, procurement, and billing.

b)Generate reports for management.

c)Ensure compliance with policies.

5.Support and Coordination:

a)Assist internal users with IT asset inquiries.

b)Work with different teams to resolve issues.

c)Coordinate asset deployments and transfers.

6.Continuous Improvement:

a)Identify ways to improve processes.

b)Participate in projects to enhance efficiency.

c)Stay updated on industry trends.

7.Compliance and Security:

a)Ensure compliance with regulations and security policies.

b)Implement security measures for IT assets.

c)Collaborate with security teams to mitigate risks.
