Project Coordinator

Role & responsibilities

• Attends the kick off meeting with the customer/ consultant and gets a copy of the Master Control Plan or other details prior to making the execution schedule.
• Coordinating shop drawing preparation and approval.
• Preparation of a base project execution schedule taking into account the deployment of manpower, material and machinery on the basis of the Master Control Plan (MCP) or the Project completion date.
• Maintains a copy of the General & Technical Specifications related to a Project and be well aware of the acceptations or deviations, if any, for reference.
• Coordinates with the Billing department regarding the receipt of the pre and the final bill of materials/ installation.
• Coordinate with the Purchase team to ensure that the material flow is as per the project schedule.
• Coordination with the site team regarding the project status during the course of execution and receive all the reports related to the progress of the project and be fully aware of Necessities of the project on daily basis.
• To summarize all the constraints and hold ups, if any, during the project stage and to escalate the same to General Manager/Management for timely action.
• Updating and maintenance of all the records such as Project Checklists and keying in the progress on the bar chart
• Maintain a copy of the Progress reports and track the with respect to the base execution Schedule.
• Responsible for updating the Resource Manager on the status of allotted projects, challenges being faced and resolutions to ensure on time project delivery.
• Managing the Project in given budget.
• To update and evaluate the progress made by Sub contractors and keep the site team informed of the same.
• Verification of sub contractor bills and all the payments in regard with the project by coordination with the Accounts department.
• Final Testing & handing over of projects successfully to the client.
