Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Powder Coating Engineer to join our team and oversee our fully automated powder coating plant. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in powder coating processes, equipment maintenance, and production planning. This role focuses on maximizing capacity utilization, ensuring high-quality outputs, and driving operational efficiency in a cutting-edge automated setup.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Powder Coating Process Management:
   
• Manage and optimize the fully automated powder coating process, including surface preparation, coating application, curing, and quality inspection.
• Monitor process parameters and adjust automation settings to ensure consistent quality and high throughput.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for powder-coated products.
2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
   
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of automated powder coating equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve issues within the automated system, minimizing production disruptions.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure smooth operation of all plant equipment.
3. Production Planning & Capacity Utilization:
   
• Develop and execute production schedules to align with customer demands and delivery timelines.
• Optimize automated processes to achieve maximum capacity utilization and reduce waste.
• Analyze production data to identify and implement process improvements.
4. Automation Management:
   
• Operate and manage the fully automated powder coating plant, ensuring seamless integration with upstream and downstream operations.
• Propose and implement enhancements to the automation system to improve efficiency and quality.
5. Quality Assurance:
   
• Establish and maintain strict quality control processes to ensure defect-free, high-quality powder-coated products.
• Conduct regular inspections of coated products and address any quality deviations promptly.
6. Team Collaboration & Leadership:
   
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including fabrication, assembly, and dispatch, to ensure smooth workflow and efficient coordination.
• Train team members in the operation and maintenance of automated equipment and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience in managing automated powder coating processes in a manufacturing setup.
• Technical Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of automated powder coating equipment and systems.
• Strong expertise in production planning and capacity utilization.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and maintenance of automated systems.
