Sql Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented SQL Server Developer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to manage, optimize, and support SQL Server databases in the context of implementing a software application product. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to ensure seamless database performance and integrity during the development & implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• SQL Server Management & Optimization:
• Administer and optimize SQL Server databases to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers to support application.
• Perform database tuning and indexing to improve query performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any SQL Server-related issues during implementation and post-deployment.

Required Skills & Experience:

• SQL Server Expertise: 2-3 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, including database management, query development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Database Management: Strong knowledge of database schema design, normalization, indexing, and stored procedure development.
• Data Migration & Integration: Experience with data migration strategies, ensuring integrity and smooth transfer from legacy systems to new platforms.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python) for database management tasks is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
