Job Description

Job Title: Head of Sales - EMS Industry

Location: Preferably Chennai (Open to candidates from across India)

Company: Electronics Product Manufacturing Company

Qualification:

BE (ECE) / BE (EEE) / BE (E&I) or equivalent

MBA in Marketing / M.Tech. is preferred

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring strategies for long-term growth, annual planning, and year-on-year (Y-O-Y) revenue growth.

- Profitability and P&L management of the sales operations.

- Oversee pan-India sales & marketing performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Government liaisoning

- Conduct regular customer visits to enhance awareness and interest in the company's products and solutions.

- Analyze customer requirements and develop tailored sales strategies to secure orders.

- Review, refine, and present competitive technical and commercial proposals.

- Lead a high-performing sales and marketing team, setting clear performance expectations, and continuously monitoring and developing team capabilities.

- Propose new policy initiatives, product offerings, partnerships, and innovative approaches to maintain the company's competitive edge.

- Convene and lead cross-functional team meetings to align strategy and operations.

- Ensure timely order fulfillment and follow up on execution.

- Oversee the timely collection of payments from customers.

Competencies Expected:

- Strong technical knowledge of Analog & Digital Avionic systems, COTS architecture in Defense and Aerospace.

- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, influencing, and team motivation skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

- Expertise in open architecture systems technology and trends.

- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency.

- Strong understanding of planning, costing, and financial management related to sales.

Experience: 20 to 25 years in the Electronics Design and Manufacturing sector, with a significant focus on government liaisoning and sales in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry.

Preferred Background:

Candidates with a technical background (BE/B.Tech) and experience working in or for government agencies are highly preferred.

This role is critical for driving sales growth, building strong government and public sector relationships, and leading the company's market expansion efforts in the EMS and electronics manufacturing sectors.
