Taxation Specialist - CPA (3-12 yrs)

Location: Bangalore

What we're looking for:

- 3-12 years of strong experience in US taxation across all levels (individual, corporate, partnership).

- Strong experience in reviewing tax files and ensuring accuracy and compliance.

- Open for Relocation to Bangalore

What you'll be doing:

- Participate in client engagements by providing expert tax advice and guidance on a wide range of tax matters.

- Devise, plan, and execute tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits for clients.

- Research and analyze complex tax issues and provide insightful solutions.

- Prepare and/or review tax returns for corporate, partnership, and individual clients, including federal, state, and local tax returns, estimated payments, and extensions.

- Stay abreast of all relevant tax laws, regulations, and industry updates.

- Advise clients on tax planning opportunities and strategies for minimizing tax burdens.

- Assist with tax audits and represent clients before tax authorities.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.

- Contribute to the development and improvement of tax processes and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 3-12 years of experience in US taxation with a strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws.

- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- CPA or EA certification preferred.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex tax issues and identify potential solutions.

- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in tax software and research databases (CCH, Thomson Reuters Checkpoint).

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
