Business Analyst - HRIS

Job Summary:

HRIS Business Analyst position is responsible for partnering with various departments to understand business needs and processes, strategize innovative solutions to improve operations, and translate requirements into user stories.

Essential Functions:

• Work closely with end users in People Operations, Client Services, Delivery, and Finance to gather requirements, understand business/system needs, and create workable user stories

• Manage user stories in Jira and drive priorities for agile execution

• Translate business requirements for development team and identify any potential impacts to existing functionality

• Assist QA team with creating comprehensive test case scenarios

• Participate in agile ceremonies, including scrum calls, sprint planning and retrospectives

• Partner with users and development team on support ticket review and resolution

• Maintain open and proactive communication with the users on the pending requirements.

• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and coordinate execution and signoff

• Create and maintain user training materials and prepare release notes

• Conduct product training for new users and demo new features

• Collaborate with product manager on roadmap planning and prioritization

• Strengthen process discipline using appropriate performance metrics

• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• 8+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required

• Experience with HRIS (Workday, ADP, etc.) along with HR operating modules like Payroll, Compensation, benefits, onboarding, recruitment, HR Core, Learning & development and Attendance (Time Management)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in-person, via phone/video calls, instant messaging, etc.)

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment

• Should be comfortable to work in UK shifts (2:30 PM TO 11:30 PM)
