Sql Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from multiple sources.
• Create and automate regular and ad hoc reports using SQL and reporting tools.
• Analyse complex datasets to provide actionable insights to business units and leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and provide technical support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of reports.
• Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries for efficiency.
• Provide training and support to team members on SQL and reporting best practices.
• Document processes and maintain a repository of reporting templates and resources.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
• Proven experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
