Accountant

Span Autotech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Accountant with HR Responsibilities. This role combines financial expertise with human resource management, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to both operational efficiency and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Duties:

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and expense tracking.
• Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and income tax filings.
• Conduct regular audits and reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy.
• Handle payroll processing and related statutory compliances.

HR Duties:

• Manage employee records and oversee HR documentation.
• Support recruitment activities, including job postings, screening, and onboarding.
• Handle employee queries related to payroll, leave, and benefits.
• Assist in implementing HR policies and employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with labor laws and workplace regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Masters degree/CA intermediate is a plus).
• Proven experience in accounting and HR roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP) and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and HR compliance.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including billing, invoicing, and payment processing.
  
• Ensure compliance with tax laws by preparing and filing returns on time (ITR, GST).
  
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and perform journal entries as needed.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in accountancy or related field.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized university.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software like Tally ERP9/Tally Prime; knowledge of other accounting packages like Zoho Books/QuickBooks is an added advantage.
