About the Role : Accountant

The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, including budgeting, financial reporting, and accounts management. You will support our business growth and accounting department by processing invoices, transactions, expenses as well as updating our accounting database. This position will give you the opportunity to grow your accounting knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Accounts Management skills
• Handle day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll
• Handle monthly and quarterly reports
• Update and maintain accounting database with data entry and reports
• Responsible for Reconciliation and analysis of assigned General Ledger Accounts, bank account, sub-ledger accounts etc.
• Expense, purchase Voucher entries
• Assist in monthly gst returns
• Responsible for TDS return filing, ensuring ROC compliance, and managing other statutory filings and tax-related responsibilities.

Skill Requirement

• Qualified Accountant least 2+ years of work experience.
• In-depth experience in financial reporting, Income Tax, GST, finalization of accounts, etc.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Experience with financial analysis and forecasting
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience in accounting, corporate finance, or fintech background is preferred. Should be able to handle independently the entire gamut of Direct Taxation, Indirect tax, Income tax, Tax planning, and Compliance.
• Strong Excel, google sheet skills and experience with accounting software, such as Tally, extensive working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); in particular, ability to financial model with Excel.
