Job Title: Accountant

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the accounts for our multiple businesses in different industries, including PET bottle manufacturing, and logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing guidance on financial decisions. The candidate must also be proficient in filing GST returns, Income tax returns, TDS returns, and annual audit. The candidate should also be comfortable traveling to our business locations outside the city when the need arises.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple businesses across different industries, including PET bottle manufacturing, franchising, and logistics
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Provide guidance on financial decisions, such as budgeting, forecasting, and investment opportunities
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, including GST, Income tax, TDS, and annual audit requirements
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax authorities, and bank officials
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and payments
Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other relevant taxes
Assist with payroll processing and related compliance requirements
Travel to our business locations outside the city when necessary
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
Proficiency in accounting software, such as Tally Prime
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
Willingness to travel to our business locations outside the city when necessary
