Job Description
As a Junior Interior Designer, you will support the senior design team in developing and executing interior design concepts for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects. You will work alongside senior designers, assisting with all stages of the design process, from concept creation to project completion, ensuring a high standard of design and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating design concepts, mood boards, and presentations for clients.
- Conduct research to keep up with design trends, materials, and products.
- Help develop layouts, floor plans, and elevations using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Collaborate with the design team to create 3D renderings and visualizations of proposed spaces.
- Prepare and organize design documentation for client meetings and presentations.
- Assist in sourcing furniture, fabrics, materials, and accessories for projects.
- Help with project coordination, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Participate in client meetings, taking notes and contributing ideas.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed project proposals and cost estimates.
- Help with site visits and inspections to ensure proper implementation of designs.
- Maintain project files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Support the design team with administrative tasks as needed.
