you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial and accounting functions of the organization.
You will ensure financial accuracy, compliance with regulations, and effective financial management to support the organization's financial health and growth.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Prepare and generate accurate financial statements, reports, and summaries on a regular basis.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, manage, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to achieve organizational goals.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, evaluate financial performance, and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely collections.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, file tax returns, and work with external tax advisors when needed.
Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and manage financial audits, including internal and external audits, to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, making recommendations for optimizing working capital.
Financial Software: Utilize financial software and tools for accounting and financial management purposes.
Financial Policies: Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard financial assets and maintain accuracy.
Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to reduce unnecessary expenditures.
Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks and exposure, and make recommendations for mitigating risks.
Financial Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's financial strategy and financial goals.
Team Leadership: If in a managerial role, lead and supervise finance and accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (eg, CPA, CFA) may be preferred for more senior roles.
Several years of experience in accounting and finance, with progressive responsibility.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial software.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
