Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to lead and manage our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products, and managing a team of QA engineers. You will collaborate with various teams, including development, product management, and operations, to implement effective quality assurance strategies and improve overall product quality.

Eligibility Criteria :

- Bachelor's degree/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with at least 2+ years in a managerial role

- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes

- Must not have a criminal background

- AWS Certification or other relevant certifications is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage the QA team, ensuring they follow industry-standard testing methodologies and best practices.

- Will be responsible for ensuring that a company's products or services meet quality standards.

- Establishing quality standards : Setting quality standards for products, services, health, and safety

- Developing processes : Creating and managing processes to ensure products meet quality specifications

- Monitoring quality : Overseeing quality testing and identifying gaps

- Ensuring compliance : Staying current on laws and regulations, and ensuring compliance with them

- Training : Training employees on quality procedures

- Analyzing data : Collecting and analyzing quality assurance data to identify areas for improvement

- Communicating : Communicating quality standards and feedback to team members, stakeholders, and upper management

- Problem-solving : Identifying problems, analyzing solutions, and implementing resolutions

- Documenting : Handling quality reports and documentation, and documenting internal audits and quality assurance activities

- Reviewing : Reviewing customer requirements, client feedback, and user feedback

- Improving : Reviewing existing policies and making suggestions for improvements

Knowledge Areas :

- In-depth knowledge of manual and automated testing processes, tools, and frameworks

- Familiarity with test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar

- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices

- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and working within an Agile environment

Technical Skills :

- Experience with QA automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar

- Proficiency in programming languages used for test automation, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.

- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner

- Experience with version control systems like Git

- Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools

- Solid knowledge of SQL for database validation and verification
