Role:

• We are seeking a Senior Engineer with a strong focus on API development and integrations, and a background in eCommerce & supply chain. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing both internal and external APIs, leading integration efforts, and setting technical direction for key projects involving complex data pipelines.

Responsibility:

• API Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs for internal and external services, particularly in the context of systems and partner integration
• Hands-On Coding: Stay actively involved in coding, debugging, and testing to ensure quality and reliability in a fast-paced environment
• Data Pipeline Management: Work with large, complex data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and security
• Technical Leadership: Provide leadership within the engineering team, either by leading a team or demonstrating strong technical influence to set standards, mentor colleagues, and contribute to high-level architectural decisions. Provide ongoing project oversight to ensure projects align with API standards and take a lead in API governance and maintenance of the API catalog
• Ownership: Provide end-to-end ownership of solutions delivered to meet requirements, delivering the platform architecture required to realize both functional and non-functional capabilities.

Skills:

• APIs & Integrations: Strong background in API design and integration architecture, ideally with experience in complex implementations involving ERPs (preferablly Oracle EBS R12 or Cloud)
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and / or GraphQL and integrating with backend services.
• Familiar with DevOps environments with CI/CD, Observability, Automation and Security
• Engineering Leadership: Proven experience leading or mentoring engineering teams, with a strong ability to influence and set technical direction.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical and solution-oriented, with a commitment to high-quality standards and continuous improvement.
• Communication skills: Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to influence and drive problem solving across teams.
