Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned and highly experienced Java Architect for our clients operations. The architect will have a minimum of 10+ years of core Java development experience and during the most recent years be working as an architect. The architect shall have strong stake holder management skills and must be able to present and influence clients
The Java Architect shall be role model leader for the team, including mentoring, training and educating them about new and cutting-edge developments taking place in Java technology. Will consolidate learnings from projects and translate the same as learning opportunities for the team.
As the Architect, this role shall be responsible for developing features using third party tools and API s. Shall be responsible for code reviews and assist the team in trouble shooting and resolve any technical problems in the code and project. Shall work closely with the team to design and develop POC s and contribute in developing prototypes.
As an added role, the architect shall also work closely with the sales team in scoping opportunities, developing technical solutions and preparing responses for the technical bids/documents.
Candidate profile
- Should have minimum 10 years of core Java development experience
- Preferably an Engineering graduate in Computer Science
- Should have led at least two to three complete product/solution life cycles
- Shall be well versed with Java 8 functionalities
- Should be well versed with
- Data structures
- OOPs concepts
- Stream API, Generics and Lambada expressions
- Collections frameworks
- Concurrency package
- GoF design patterns
- Various third-party libraries
- Must have worked on REST / ODATA / SOAP APIs and have a strong flair for design and architecture
- Must demonstrate strong leadership qualities
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have good communication and presentation skills
- Customer centricity and client experience
