As a Project Manager at Sophos IT Services, you will oversee and manage the successful execution of various IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success and contribute to continuous improvement. You will lead IT projects and participate in bid defense presentations to support project acquisition for smaller clinical studies and represent Sophos at industry conferences, showcasing IT and clinical project capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage IT and clinical projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment with business goals and
Develop and execute project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, timeline management, risk assessment, and mitigation
Participate in bid defense presentations in partnership with business development, contributing to project acquisition, especially for smaller, regional clinical
Represent Sophos at industry conferences, presenting IT and clinical project capabilities, solutions, and
Develop integrated study management plans with the core project team for clinical
Coordinate and Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, clinical trial coordinators, and quality assurance teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on
Ensure compliance with both IT project management and clinical study management methodologies and best
Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous
Act as the primary project contact with customers, managing the relationship with key customer
Manage risk and problem-solving efforts proactively, and lead corrective and preventative action
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Life Science, or related
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project
Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects within scope, on time, and within
Experience in understanding of GCP guidelines, and clinical research regulatory requirements (for clinical projects).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal
Proficiency in project management software and
PMP or other project management certification is a
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented
Ability to work in different time zones as per the project requirements
