Sr. Electrical Designer | EPC, PMC, EPCM

- Electrical Engineers with relevant experience of all activities of Electrical Design/engineering,
- Hands on experience in industrial Engineering Design (Conceptual, Basic/FEED Engineering, Detail Engineering, PMC, EPC, EPCM etc.)
- Review of Design Manuals, Techno Economical Feasibility reports, Basic and Detailed engineering drawings/Documents, Cost estimation reports etc. for maintaining the quality.
- Responsible for error free delivery of the Electrical deliverables of the project.
- Development of Design Basis, Specification of Electrical Equipment like HV & LV Panels, Transformers, DG sets, HV & LV Cables, UPS, Battery Charger and Bill of Quantity of all Electrical equipment and installation material, cost estimation of Project.
- Preparation of Load List, Transformer & DG Set Sizing Calculations, Cable/Drum Schedule of HV/LV Cables, Lighting Calculation and Lighting Ckt Design/distribution, Earthing Calculation, Lightning Protection Calculation etc.
- Review/preparation of Single Line Diagrams (SLD) of HV Panels, LV Panels (PCC, PMCC, APFC, MCC/iMCC, MLDB, MPDB, LDB, ELDB, PDB, Construction PDB) etc.
- Experience in Electrical Layouts like Substation Layouts, Earthing & Lightning Protection Layout, Lighting & Power point Layout, Cable tray/trench layouts etc.
- Review of 3D model with Naviswork software for coordinated engineering design.
- Procurement Activities like preparation of Inquiry/RFQ Documents of electrical equipment, Tender/Contract documents for electrical contractor, Technical & commercial Bid Analysis, Vendor Drawing - Review of Electrical Systems / Equipment, Cost Estimation, Inspection and expediting.
- Proactive approach, Co-ordination and communication within discipline, other discipline, Project management team, Client and Vendors / Contractors.
- Able to work independently for Engineering Design/Documents/Layouts.
- Trouble Shooting with design related site issues
- Participation in project progress meeting and milestone meeting
- Factory Inspections (FAT) of Electrical Equipments (i.e. HV Panel, LV Panel, DG Set, Transformer, HV/LV cable, HV/LV Motor, UPS, Battery charger etc.)
- Good understanding of Project lifecycle, Electrical detail engineering, timelines and milestones.
- Good English communication skills verbal and written.
- Knowledge of statutory rules and National / International codes (i.e. IS, IEC, IEEE, OISD, NBC, NEC etc.)
- Knowledge/Experience with software packages for electrical Design (i.e. DiaLux, CG Lux, ETAP/SKM, AutoCAD etc.)
