Industrial Fitter (Metal Manufacturing Industry)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Fitter with a minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the metal manufacturing industry. The role involves installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
Diagnose mechanical faults and conduct timely repairs on pumps, motors, valves, furnaces, burners, and other machinery.
Dismantle and assemble mechanical components for repair or replacement.
Inspect, test, and troubleshoot mechanical systems to enhance efficiency.
Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems for smooth operations.
Ensure proper alignment, balancing, and calibration of rotating equipment.
Follow safety procedures and industry standards while working with heavy machinery.
Assist in equipment installation and commissioning.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant operations.

Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 10 years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in metal manufacturing.
Technical Skills: Expertise in pumps, motors, valves, furnaces, burners, and industrial machinery.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
Hands-on experience with welding, cutting, and fabrication (preferred).
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Understanding of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements.
Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.
