Lead Digital Engineer

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on D365 FO projects, including implementations and upgrades.
• The candidate should possess strong skills in X++ coding, SSRS report building, and integration with D365 FO. Additionally, the candidate should be adept at schema design, data entities, security objects, and have experience in performing code reviews and defining best practices.
• Technical consultant with 6+ years of experience
• Worked extensively on D365 FO Projects on Implementation and Upgrade
• Good hands on x++ code using Extensions, event handlers
• Worked on building SSRS reports
• Worked on building the Integration with D365 FO using the integrations patterns available
• Worked on building schema design, Data entities and security objects
• Perform code reviews, define best practices
• Responsible for Technical design documentation ,Unit test and Interface Testing

D365 FO Projects:

• Lead and manage implementation and upgrade projects for D365 FO.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

X++ Coding:

• Develop and maintain X++ code using extensions and event handlers.
• Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices through regular code reviews.

SSRS Reports:

• Design, develop, and deploy SSRS reports to meet business requirements.
• Ensure reports are optimized for performance and accuracy.

Integration:

• Build and maintain integrations with D365 FO using available integration patterns.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they arise.

Schema Design and Data Entities:

• Design and implement schema structures and data entities.
• Ensure data integrity and security across all entities.

Security Objects:

• Develop and manage security objects to ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
• Implement role-based security and manage user access controls.

Technical Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical design documentation.
• Develop unit test plans and conduct interface testing to ensure system functionality.

Best Practices:

• Define and enforce best practices for development, testing, and deployment.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Experience:

• 6+ years of experience working on D365 FO projects.
• Proven track record of successful implementations and upgrades.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong hands-on experience with X++ coding, including extensions and event handlers.
• Proficiency in building SSRS reports and understanding of reporting best practices.
• Experience with integration patterns for D365 FO and troubleshooting integration issues.

Design and Development:

• Expertise in schema design, data entities, and security objects.
• Strong understanding of role-based security and user access management.

Documentation and Testing:

• Experience in preparing technical design documentation.
• Ability to develop and execute unit test plans and conduct thorough interface testing.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide mentorship.

• Certification in D365 FO or related technologies.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
