Organization
Designation: Business Manager Restaurant Operations
Location: Delhi NCR
Reporting To: Area Manager
Job Summary
The Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a restaurant, ensuring
profitability, efficiency, and exceptional guest experience. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-
paced, hands-on work environment, contributing to P&L management, inventory control, financial reporting,
labor management, and security procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and
communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Business Manager is responsible for the smooth restaurants operations of the Organization
Operational Management:
• Manage the overall operations of the restaurant while ensuring operational excellence.
• Maintain P&L management, inventory control, and cash security procedures.
• Review financial reports and take appropriate actions to optimize restaurant performance.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Team Management & Development:
• Recruit, interview, hire, and on-board new employees.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
• Train, coach, and motivate Restaurant Managers, Floor Managers, Senior Captains, and Guest Service Associates
to ensure operational excellence.
• Build and foster a collaborative, positive team culture.
• Address and resolve performance issues as necessary, providing appropriate disciplinary actions when required.
Financial & Inventory Management:


  • Monitor and control labour costs, scheduling, and inventory.
    • Take necessary actions to ensure the restaurant meets or exceeds financial goals.
    • Conduct regular inventory checks and coordinate ordering to prevent stock outs and wastage.
    Guest Experience:
    • Interact with guests to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
    • Resolve guest concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
    • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, ambiance, and food quality.
    Sales & Marketing:
    • Implement and manage local store marketing techniques to drive sales growth.
    • Contribute to sales-building strategies and community outreach efforts.
    • Monitor trends and make recommendations to improve sales and profitability.
    Administrative & Strategic Planning:
    • Prepare and review financial reports, labour reports, and other business metrics.
    • Set and communicate strategic goals for restaurant performance.
    • Ensure proper documentation and administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
    • Conduct and attend meetings as required to stay aligned with corporate goals.
    Additional Responsibilities:
    • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by senior management.
    • Adapt to a 65/75-hour work week, prioritizing multiple tasks and making quick decisions in a fast-paced
    environment. •
    Skills and Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in a management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations, determine root causes, and take corrective actions.
    • High level of integrity and business ethics.
    • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team building and employee development.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform effectively under pressure.
    • Excellent communication, delegating, and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and P&L management.
    • Knowledge of local store marketing strategies and sales-building techniques.
    • Ability to make tough decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
QUALIFICATION • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related
field (preferred).
• Certification or specialized training in restaurant management, business management, or food safety (a plus).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a managerial role within the restaurant industry.
EXPERIENCE • Proven track record of successful financial management, team leadership, and
operational oversight.
• Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies.INDUSTRY • Retail/F&B Retail/QSR
Salary:
• 8-9 LPA (Negotiable based on experience and qualification)
