We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator specializing in IT to join our team. The Procurement Coordinator for IT will be responsible for managing the procurement process for information technology-related goods and services. A strong understanding of IT procurement processes, vendor management is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Management:

• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with IT vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Maintain positive vendor relationships and address issues as they arise.

Procurement Process:

• Collaborate with IT teams and departments to determine procurement needs and specifications.
• Create and manage purchase orders (POs) for IT hardware, software, licenses, and services.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Cost Control:

• Monitor IT procurement expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze pricing, quality, and delivery times to make informed procurement decisions.
• Assist in budget management and cost forecasting for IT procurement.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with IT teams to track the lifecycle of hardware and software assets.
• Implement asset management best practices.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that IT purchases meet quality standards and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with IT teams to perform vendor and product evaluations.
• Handle product returns and warranty claims when necessary.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive records of IT procurement activities.
• Generate regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and vendor performance.
• Assist in the preparation of procurement documentation for audits and compliance checks.

Compliance and Security:

• Ensure that IT procurement activities comply with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with the IT security team to assess and mitigate procurement-related security risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT procurement or a similar role.
• Familiarity with IT hardware, software, and licensing procurement.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Procurement certification (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management - CPSM) is a plus.
• Familiarity with IT asset management and inventory tracking systems.
