Laptop or Desktop or IT procurement, involves the sourcing, purchasing, and managing of hardware for an organization. Here are some responsibilities of a desktop procurement professional:

• Identify requirements: Understand the requirements for a purchase, such as those issued by the design department
• Negotiate: Discuss prices and quality with vendors to find the best deal for the company
• Evaluate suppliers: Research, compare, and evaluate potential suppliers
• Create contracts: Negotiate and evaluate vendor contracts
• Track inventory: Track inventory and submit purchase orders
• Recommend products: Recommend new products, services, or materials that align with industry trends

Requirements:

• 1- 3 years of experience in Desktop and Laptop procurement.
• Supplier research: Identify potential suppliers and evaluate them based on project requirements
• Contract negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with suppliers and vendors
• Supplier relationship management: Manage relationships with suppliers and work closely with them
• Procurement strategy development: Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Cost-effectiveness: Ensure cost-effective material acquisition and identify cost-savings
• Project timelines: Adhere to project timelines and budget constraints
• Procurement best practices: Implement procurement best practices for optimal efficiency
