Solution Architect - P&C Claims Systems

ValueMomentum is seeking a Solution Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing business solutions that meet the functional, technical and performance requirements of Insurance Customers in their journey of Business Transformation, Cloud Migration and Digital Augmentation of Claims Core and Ecosystem. You have deep insights into the software development lifecycle with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and ready to take on new challenges. You will lead and mentor a team of talented software developers to build world class solution and offering by providing guidance to the team from CoTs (primarily Guidewire but will cater to Duck Creek, OneShield, Sapiens etc.) Architecture perspective. You should have strong understanding of Insurance Value Chain, Claims Lifecycle and Cloud Architecture to help your team with design best practices and architecture consulting with customer. You need to lead any proof-of-concept for the business problems use cases and arrive to a decision on whether customer should adopt it. You will work closely with the Technology Architects & Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment of solutions with the Business and IT strategies while sharing updates on solutions, dependencies, technology short coming and priorities. You will ensure team adopts the best practices from the perspective of architectural artifacts, interface, tools, etc. You will communicate regularly on the solutions and status to all levels of business and management. Responsibilities: As a Solution Architect, your day-to-day work activities will be as follows: To lead and drive a technology discussion in w.r.t business offering creation and solving difficult business problems through scalable and reusable solution proposal. Prepare and enhance design documents that would be needed to support product augmentation in cloud ? Integration Design, Solution Plug-in, modularization and decoupling of reusable modules. Be responsible for leading the solutioning creation by owning the end deliverable and presenting to Internal and External stakeholders. Understand technology landscape for Claims design and Configuration, Cloud Best Practices, Integration Design in Cloud, Digital Experience design across various CoTs platform (primarily Guidewire) Identify the positioning and relevance of value added solution based on Cloud roadmap of the platform, establish quantified value generation mapping to business KPI, continues refinement of solution. Coordinate with business users, business analysts, and team members to understand the business requirements and configure complex business rules and workflows. Trouble shoot & resolve technical issues, provide solutions & workarounds to critical requirements. Lead, mentor & coordinate of Engineering Center team and provide all guidance for solution creation. Oversee and contribute to technology review and guidance to the delivery team for complex solution. Intense expertise in Estimation, Solution Creation and Responding technology ask in large RFP. Ability to demonstrate Technology Offering to Customer Architects, Lead Technology and Solution discussions in RFP Defenses, create unique solution alternative associated with pros and cons Requirements: The incumbent must ? Have an overall work experience ~ 15 years, with at least 5 years of Guidewire ClaimCenter implementation experience, solution design, configuration, extension, customization and post live support experience. Have a ?differentiator? mindset ? a practitioner who contributes to asset creation and build the competency Have a deep insight into the SDLC and strong understanding of Agile methodologies. Demonstrate a strong understanding of application development projects involving the implementation of complex business rules, workflows and automate process flow of claims settlement. Have proven technical experience in requirement analysis, detailed designs and implementation activities required to ensure the development, integration and long-term maintenance of applications. Expertise in configuration and development of various areas of Insurance Claims? FNOL, Reserve Creation, Segmentation an Assignment, Settlement, Adjudication, Subro Referral and Recovery, Salvage, Configure, build & develop system components for Guidewire using GOSU, Wizards, PCF, Data Model, Workflow, Activities, Product Designer etc. Complete up to the speed with GW Cloud Platform Claims Offerings, Integration Gateway, Marketplace Accelerators, Ski Release, Offerings, Claims Auto Pilot etc. having Guidewire Cloud Certification as well. At least 2+ years of work experience in Duck Creek / Sapiens / Majesco etc. other than Guidewire Strong exposure and experience in Enterprise System design, design of ESB, downstream and upstream integration design with best practices for Authentication, Security, Scalability and Performance. Desired Skill Set: Candidates with these extra skills on their resumes have an added advantage while their profile is being assessed. Some of them are as follows: Good to have Guidewire certification on Integration track. Certified in other CoTs - Duck Creek, Sapiens, Majesco etc. Awareness on Cloud Implementation and AWS / Azure Certification
