Solution Architect - Healthcare (Okta Expertise)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Design and Architecture:
• Lead the design and architecture of secure and scalable software solutions for healthcare applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business needs and regulatory requirements in healthcare.
2. Identity and Access Management (IAM):
• Design and implement IAM solutions using Okta, ensuring secure user authentication and authorization.
• Develop and enforce access management policies compliant with HIPAA and other healthcare standards.
3. Technical Leadership:
• Serve as a technical advisor, guiding development teams and ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance system performance and security.
4. Healthcare-Specific Solutions:
• Design integrations with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and other healthcare IT systems.
• Address challenges unique to the healthcare domain, including data privacy, interoperability, and compliance.
5. Documentation and Communication:
• Prepare and present architectural documentation to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Communicate complex concepts effectively to clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in software architecture and solution design.
• Proven expertise in Okta and Identity and Access Management solutions.
• Significant experience in the healthcare domain, including familiarity with standards like HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with APIs, microservices architecture, and RESTful services.
• Hands-on knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Okta or other IAM technologies.
• Experience with healthcare IT platforms like Cerner, Epic, or similar.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
