Solis Technology - Software Test Engineer - Appium/Selenium (2-3 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications, including web, mobile (iOS and Android), and enterprise systems.

- Perform various types of testing, including functional, non-functional (performance, security, usability), regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Conduct testing on complex systems like ERP, CRM, and HRMS, understanding their intricate workflows and data flows.

- Design and implement test strategies for emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Machine Learning models, focusing on accuracy, performance, bias detection, and explainability.

- Utilize appropriate testing tools and frameworks for test automation, performance testing, and defect tracking.

- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to the automation testing efforts for mobile and web applications, including writing and executing basic automated test scripts.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of professional experience in software testing.

- Proven experience testing web and mobile applications (iOS and Android).

- Experience testing complex enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRMS).

- Experience testing emerging technologies like Generative AI and Machine Learning, etc

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC.

- Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks for mobile and web (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Appium, etc).

- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).

- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.

- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
