Network Solution Architect - Juniper

Juniper Routing and Switching

Experience range: 11-16 yrs

Job Location: Chennai

Desired Competencies:

• 8+ years of experience in Network Design, Implementation and support
• Responsible for creating High level Network design, Low level design, Implementation Plan, migration plan, testing plan for the new projects.
• Validating the existing design and providing recommendations for optimization
• Hands-on work experience in Juniper Router Products (MX, SRX series)
• Hands-on work experience in Juniper Switch Products (EX and QFX series)
• Hands on work experience in Routing Protocol BGP and OSPF
• Hands-on work experience in Juniper Switching (VLANs, STP, VXLAN, etc.)
• Responsible for troubleshooting and fixing Major Network issues (Priority Medium to Critical)
• Work collaboratively with Customer L3 team and TCS internal towers to identify and fix complex issues
• Participate in MIM (Major Incident Management) Calls and provide solution/ update on a timely manner
• Provide appropriate guidance to L1/L2 team
• Experience with Cloud networking (Azure or GCP) is a plus
• Technical co-ordination with the OEM support in the event of any Technology assistance
• Update Training and Support documentation

Preferred:

• JNCIP-SP, JNCIE-SP/DC/ENT Certification
• CCNP Certification

ITIL Certified or a Strong working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and change management disciplines

Expectation from this role:

An ability to lead the Network Engineering team

Involved in technical discussion with the customer about new technology innovations.

Ensure that network devices are maintained and configured as per the security standards
