Project Senior Accountant

JOB TITLE: Project Senior Accountant

JOB LOCATION: Lagos, Nigeria

KEY RESPONSBILITIES:

• Bookkeeping, maintaining a system of managing and overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions of the company branches / Project sites, including but not limited to the accounting, payroll, accounts payable, planning.
• Monitoring and recording transactions and financial events in compliance with company policy.
• Ensuring accurate and timely accounting reporting periodically.
• Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business.
• Responding to inquiries from Senior Accountants, Controller Finance & Accounts, in terms of accounting results and special reporting requests
• Assisting in the implementation and realization of new procedures and projects to improve the workflow of the department.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

• Must have experience in Projects
• Good Experience in working on Tally ERP / Microsoft Excel/Oracle/SAP/Epicor
• Good Interpersonal Skills with fluency in speaking English language.
• Experience in Mining/ Power Project / Gas Processing Plants / Fertilizer Plants / Petrochemicals mandatory

QUALIFICATION: M. Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) /

EXPERIENCE: 8 - 11 years

CERTIFICATIONS: ERP/MS Office

MANDATORY CRITERIA:

• Qualified M. Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance)
• Experience in Projects Team - Petrochemicals/ Refinery / Fertilizers mandatory
• Good Communication Skills (Proficient in Speaking English)
• ERP Experience of Minimum 2-3 years
• Leadership, Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills.
• Excellent Communication, Negotiation and Presentation Skills.
• Preparation of Budgets and reporting the variances
• Should show job stability, by working for at least 3-5 years in each company (frequent job hoppers will be disqualified)
• Age Profile 30-35 years
