Job Title : SAP ABAP Developer - HR Module (Remote)
Location : Hyderabad (Remote)

Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic SAP ABAP Developer with expertise in the SAP HR (Human Resources) module to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of ABAP solutions within the SAP HR module, focusing on performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.
As a SAP ABAP Developer with HR module experience, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing existing HR-related SAP applications, handling integration with other SAP modules, and delivering new functionalities as per business requirements. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an agile environment, collaborating with functional teams, and ensuring the timely and effective delivery of solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
ABAP Development :
- Design, develop, and implement ABAP programs for various HR functionalities, including but not limited to Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), Payroll, and Recruitment.
- Develop custom reports, interactive reports, and ALV (ABAP List Viewer) reports to support HR business processes.
- Perform enhancements, modifications, and bug fixes in SAP HR programs, reports, and interfaces.
HR Module Expertise :
- In-depth knowledge of SAP HR module and its sub-modules like Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), and Payroll.
- Work closely with functional HR teams to understand business requirements, provide technical input, and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Work on SAP HR forms (smartforms, SAPscript) to generate required reports and documents.
- Integrate SAP HR with other modules (such as SAP FI, MM, and WM) and third-party systems as necessary.
Performance Tuning :
- Analyze and optimize ABAP programs for performance to ensure fast execution and minimal system load.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed for quality and efficiency in development.
Testing and Debugging :
- Perform unit testing and support integration testing for HR solutions.
- Assist in debugging and resolving issues related to HR modules and ABAP developments.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing :
- Maintain detailed documentation for all ABAP developments, customizations, and enhancements.
- Provide knowledge transfer and support to team members, end users, and other stakeholders.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams :
- Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Participate in client meetings and gather technical requirements for new developments and enhancements.
Support & Maintenance :
- Provide ongoing support for SAP HR-related issues, including post-production issues, change requests, and minor enhancements.
- Assist in identifying potential improvements in HR processes and systems and implement them effectively.
Required Skills & Experience :
Core SAP ABAP Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP development, including reports, enhancements, function modules, BAPIs, RFCs, BADI, ALV, and smartforms.
- Strong knowledge in debugging ABAP code and performance tuning.
HR Module Expertise :
- 4 to 6 years of experience specifically working with SAP HR module (PA, OM, TM, Payroll, etc.).
- Solid understanding of HR business processes and the ability to work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Additional Skills :
- Experience with HR-related interfaces (e.g., file interfaces, IDocs, RFCs).
- Familiarity with SAP HCM configuration and customization is a plus.
- Knowledge of other SAP modules (such as FI/CO, MM, etc.) is beneficial for cross-module integration.
Tools & Technologies :
- Proficiency in SAP NetWeaver, Eclipse IDE for ABAP, SAP HANA (if applicable).
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP technologies is an advantage.
Soft Skills :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Educational Qualifications :
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- SAP ABAP certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors integration is a plus.
- Knowledge of HRMS (Human Resource Management Systems) or related technologies.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
