Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Azure Test Architect with 11+ years of experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. This role will focus on driving the testing strategy for our cutting-edge projects, providing leadership in test automation, designing robust testing frameworks, and ensuring the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in Java, Selenium, and Automation Frameworks, along with strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues alongside the development team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Test Automation Leadership : Lead the testing strategy for automation and manual testing efforts across multiple projects. Design and implement test automation frameworks and ensure high standards of quality.

- Automation Framework Development : Expertly develop advanced automation scripts in Java using Selenium frameworks. Implement and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks for different applications.

- Architecture & Design : Design and implement end-to-end test automation solutions. Create and manage the Test Automation Suite, providing solutions for areas that require automation.

- Code Reviews & Best Practices : Lead code reviews, ensure adherence to high coding standards and best practices in automation, and provide guidance to the test team to improve overall code quality.

- Troubleshooting & Debugging : Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot bugs, identify areas of improvement, and resolve errors efficiently. Handle object identification issues and error handling during test execution.

- Test Case Management : Select, organize, and prioritize test cases for automation, ensuring thorough test coverage. Document bug reproducibility scenarios and write detailed, well-structured test cases.

- Stakeholder & Client Interaction : Regularly communicate with clients to understand their business needs and ensure that test cases align with their requirements. Keep stakeholders informed of testing progress and results.

- Collaboration with Development Teams : Work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the test execution phase.

- Test Tools & Continuous Integration : Setup and configure test environments (e.g., Selenium Test Environment), work with test management tools (e.g., JIRA), and integrate testing with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure, and Docker.

- Scripting & Framework Tools : Use tools like Selenoid, Gradle, Maven, and JavaScript to create and enhance test scripts. Demonstrate proficiency in API testing using tools such as Rest Assured or Postman, and DB testing.

- Adaptability & Learning : Stay updated with the latest testing tools and technologies, and be willing to learn new technologies as needed to support the project.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- 11+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing, with a strong background in driving testing processes and strategies.

- Automation Expertise : Expertise in Java and Selenium for developing advanced-level automation scripts. Experience in Code Reviews and applying OOPS principles in automation code.

- Test Automation Frameworks : Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Automation Frameworks from scratch using industry-standard tools like Selenium, Gradle, Maven, and JUnit.

- API Testing : Strong experience in API testing using tools such as Rest Assured or Postman. Ability to automate API tests and validate responses.

- Test Management Tools : Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or any other test management tools for tracking test cases, defects, and progress.

- CI/CD Knowledge : Strong experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) using tools like Jenkins, Azure, and Docker.

- Automation Tools : Knowledge of Selenoid for Selenium Grid, experience with TDD or BDD frameworks, and expertise in JavaScript.

- Database Testing : Experience with DB testing, including validating data in databases, writing SQL queries for testing, and working with DB tools.

- Strong Debugging Skills : Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues, collaborate with development teams to resolve problems.

- Excellent Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, developers, and other stakeholders.

- Attention to Detail : High attention to detail, ensuring thorough testing and quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.

- Leadership & Ownership : Demonstrated leadership ability to drive teams and projects with ownership, ensuring high-quality products are delivered on time.

Desirable Skills :

- UFT (Unified Functional Testing) : Familiarity with UFT for automation testing.

- SQL : Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and DB testing.

- Cloud Technologies : Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure for test environment setup and deployment.

- Agile Methodology : Experience working in an Agile development environment, adhering to agile testing principles and continuous integration processes.
