Desktop/Helpdesk Engineer

Requirements - 1) One year experience as desktop/helpdesk engineer

2) Qualification - Graduation

3) Should know following - a) DNS basics b) CCTV basics c) Ability to work on assigned tickets
d) Wifi/Internet basics

To provide L1/L2 support Logging / verifying end user details Identifying the issue and categorizing / prioritize the incident Identifying the trend of calls / tickets and highlighting it to TL/SME as applicable for outage confirmation Trouble shooting issues related to email /office suite / WebEx /Jabber, Chrome / Safari, IE, Firefox, Lotus Notes etc as per scope document and SOW Handling Technical issues of L1/L2 Understanding of Windows 7 & 10 operating system - knowledge of MAC OS will be an advantage

Job description -

• Level 1 troubleshooting with Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Basic-intermediate Microsoft Desktop OS knowledge
• Basic-intermediate Mac OS knowledge
• Basic-intermediate Android and Apple iOS knowledge
• Knowledge of where System/Application Logs are, and how to view them for troubleshooting.
• Basic troubleshooting skills/problem determination regardless of in-person or remote
• Basic-intermediate knowledge of mail system/wifi network/telephony for troubleshooting
• Dell and Apple Mac hardware knowledge to be able to correctly diagnose hardware issues.
• Basic networking knowledge (Protocols, TCP/IP, Subnets, routing, OSI layer)
• Experience working in a ticket queue Inventory management
