About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Analyst (Product Owner) to join our dynamic team.
This critical role bridges the gap between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring the delivery of high-impact solutions aligned with organizational goals.
With 5-7 years of experience in Business Analysis and Agile methodologies, you will be a champion for the product vision, driving the product roadmap and prioritizing features to maximize business value.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to define, develop, and launch successful products.
Responsibilities :
Product Vision and Strategy :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Translate business goals into actionable product requirements.
Product Ownership :
- Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing user stories and features based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility.
- Define and communicate product requirements to the development team in the form of user stories, acceptance criteria, and mockups.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the development team regarding product-related questions and decisions.
Agile Practices :
- Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the development team and stakeholders.
- Ensure that the development team adheres to Agile principles and practices.
Requirements Elicitation and Documentation :
- Elicit and analyze business requirements from various stakeholders.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Ensure that documentation is clear, concise, and up-to-date.
Product Testing and Launch :
- Participate in product testing and quality assurance to ensure that products meet requirements and are of high quality.
- Support product launches and go-to-market activities.
Performance Analysis :
- Track and analyze product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Use data to inform product decisions and prioritize future development.
Team Leadership (Good to Have) :
- Mentor and guide junior business analysts or product owners.
- Lead and coordinate the work of a small team.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Experience :
- 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, with significant experience in both project management and Agile environments.
- Expertise in Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban and a strong knowledge of project management principles.
- Proven ability to create detailed and clear documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and other relevant artifacts.
- Familiarity with software development processes and technical constraints.
- Ability to understand technical discussions and translate them into business requirements.
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar platforms for Agile and project management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and experience collaborating with design teams.
- Experience conducting workshops and stakeholder interviews.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
Good to Have :
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMP, or PMI-ACP.
- Experience in leading a small team
