We are seeking a skilled Checkpoint Firewall Engineer to join our IT security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Checkpoint firewalls to ensure a secure IT infrastructure. You will work closely with network and security teams to implement security policies, monitor threats, and maintain compliance with industry standards.

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Checkpoint firewalls and security gateways.
• Implement security policies, NAT, VPN configurations, and firewall rules as per business requirements.
• Monitor firewall logs, analyze security incidents, and respond to threats proactively.
• Perform regular firewall audits, updates, and patch management.
• Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, etc.).
• Collaborate with network and IT teams to optimize firewall performance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for firewall-related issues.
• Document network security policies, configurations, and incident response procedures.

• 2+ years of experience in IT security, specifically in Checkpoint firewall administration.
• Strong understanding of network security concepts, TCP/IP, VPN, NAT, and IDS/IPS.
• Hands-on experience with Checkpoint SmartConsole, Gaia OS, and security policy management.
• Experience in configuring and managing SSL/IPSec VPNs.
• Knowledge of SIEM solutions, threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Industry certifications like CCSA, CCSE, or equivalent are preferred.
