Job Description

A senior hands-on engineer able to size, design, deploy and manage networks of varying complexities. A customer facing role, able to evaluate network topologies and configurations and suggest areas of optimization and corrections. Exposure to creating design documents and solution documents.
Skillsets:
Good knowledge and experience in Static routing, BGP (Mandatory)
Good knowledge and experience in Nexus VPC (Preferred)
Good knowledge of Fortigate Firewalls (Preferred)
Good experience in probing & troubleshooting L2 (Mandatory)
Good knowledge in Route map and Prefix list (Mandatory)
Sound knowledge of IPSLA, Netflow etc (Mandatory)
Basic Knowledge in Wireless technologies (Optional)
Basic Knowledge in Fortigate SdWAN (Preferred)
Ability to review exiting infra and identify areas of improvement & optimization (Preferred)
Experience in design & deployment of a multi-site, LAN + WAN infra (Mandatory)
Help in adoption of emerging technologies and trends (Preferred)
Help identify new tools to automate and simplify day to day tasks (Optional)
Ability to understand new requirements and create design and solution documents (Preferred)
Previous experience in creating SoP s (Standard operating Procedures) and PnP (Policy & Procedure) documents (Preferred)
Good communication and presentation skills (Mandatory)
Ability to engage in technical discussion with Senior Managers and technical heads (Mandatory)
Certifications:
CCNA Routing & Switching (Mandatory)
CCNP (Preferred)
Any certifications related to Firewalls and security (Preferred)
Exposure to ITIL (Optional)
